We met in a research lab during our undergraduate years at UF. For the first three years, we barely spoke. It wasn't until I volunteered to plan his going-away party that we really got to know each other. Looking back, it's funny how someone who had been quietly in the background for so long would eventually become the most important person in my life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Early in our relationship, we were just getting started in our careers. We'd buy Trader Joe's mangoicin and drive to Fort Lauderdale Beach to watch the sunset. Those evenings didn't cost much, but they felt like everything
What would you do with $20,000?We got engaged while I was pursuing my Ph.D. With graduate school and the early years of our careers, we chose a long engagement. We would use the money so that we could finally celebrate the wedding we'd always imagined.
