How did your love story begin?

I was a bartender and single mom of three when Cody walked into my life. We became friends after he started coming into the restaurant regularly, and he asked for my phone number almost every night. I always said no, convinced nobody wanted the package deal of me and three kids. Then one night he outsmarted me—he asked me to take a picture of him and a friend and then told me to text it to him. After weeks of trying, he finally got my number, and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our trip to Alaska because it was the first time we truly escaped the world and focused on just us. What started as one adventure turned into a lifestyle. Since then, we've traveled all over the country, often with our champion Sphynx cats in tow for cat shows. From glaciers to show halls, we've learned that our favorite place isn't a destination—it's wherever we're together, usually with a hairless cat causing chaos nearby.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won, we'd invest it back into our home, which has slowly been taken over by our passion for Sphynx cats. Over the years, our cattery has grown, and while we wouldn't trade it for anything, our house occasionally feels more like a feline kingdom than a family home. We'd use the money to create additional space and make life more comfortable for both us and our four-legged residents. In short, we'd be upgrading headquarters for Team DavisVonNaki and our wonderfully chaotic cat farm.
