David and I accidentally had two first dates. Jaded and tired, I arrived for my Tinder date-expecting the worst. But David was different - honest, funny- no bs. Still it felt too complicated- so I canceled our 2nd date. Months pass and I'm on eharmony. A cute guy messages and we meet over coffee. We click! Two weeks fly by and we're sipping cocktails when he asks, "You ever feel like we've done this before?" It was David! We'd changed so much in such a short time. It really is about timing.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory was a quiet moment I witnessed after giving birth to our son. I saw David over by the cradle where our newborn son was wrapped in a blanket. He layed his hand on my son almost like he was sending all the love and wishes for happiness through his hand into this little body. Simultaneously thanking the powers that be for a healthy baby and greeting this new life into the world.
What would you do with $20,000?We would finance our wedding. This year things have been tough. We are both in the service industry, he is a handyman and I've started to teach floral and green classes in the community. But he suffered a severe back injury which has caused a lot of difficulties for our family. Winning this would help substantially and we are hopeful.
