Connect How did your love story begin?

We met through this sister. I was on a date, his sister complimented my shoes and preceded to ask me if I was on a date, saying yes, she told me her brother was going through a breakup and needed friends. I invited him to a group of us called the misfits, he looked me up on my space and started talking, I got to know him and was vetting her for a friend. He was perfect for me!! So, I kept him or he chased me to be honest. True love story!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The impromptu picnics. He would pack a picnic and have it in his car waiting for me after work. We would go to the park or just sit in the car if it was raining and have these amazing picnics. Where we truly got to know each other. He loves Disney and I am not a fan, but I like the beach and he's not a fan, but we compromise. It's never 50/50 it's who needs what at a particular time. Better Together!

What would you do with $20,000?

We have five kids between us and 16 grandchildren. I know he wants to do a huge family trip to have everybody in one house spending time together, which we never get to do and that would make him very, very happy. He always will go out of his way to make me happy and I want to make him happy. I had breast cancer during COVID, he waited outside the hospital and was texting mee the whole day. he never left the parking lot. That made me feel so not alone. During my recovery and was there!
