I was reeling from a break up with my fiancé. She had just postponed the wedding. I was taking my truck thru a car wash and on the other side, Tracy was there vacuuming her car. She Recognized me from church and came to the passenger side of the truck, opened the door and gave me a hug. I hardly knew her. But as I drove away, I thought, “wow she smells real good”. Shortly after we started dated secretly. We married 3 months later. That was 39 years ago!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Too many to count- when each of our kids were born. When she got pregnant after losing our first baby. Most recent, climbing manitou incline in Colorado Springs together. All our trips together are highlights. Teamwork in marriage is about blending strengths and overcoming challenges together.
What would you do with $20,000?Her dream has always been to go to Ireland where her ancestry is from. We would use some for that. We donate a lot of our resources to various non-profits. We would give a portion to one of those.
