Dated in HS, lost touch, married 30 years to others, widowed and divorced, reconnected, got married, love and laugh together everyday.
We would like to thank you for supporting DARREN and LISA SHERIFF in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Like I stated above, we had actually dated in high school and were in band together back in the mid-1980s. I had posted a picture from a pollinator symposium back in May of 2025 that I attended and Lisa now my wife made the simple comment of you have definitely aged well and became a good looking guy. We started chatting after that on Facebook and realized how much our lives had actually paralleled each other. We met in Charleston one weekend, she came up from Florida to see me at a lecture.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There have been so many in the short time that we've been married but we would definitely say, the weeknd that she drove up from Clearwater, Florida, and I drove down from Smithfield, North Carolina to Charleston, South Carolina to see me speak at a lecture has got to top the list. I believe we laughed the entire weekend together and knew we belonged together. Our complete story: https://thecitrusguy.blogspot.com/2026/07/americas-favorite-couple-information.html?m=1
What would you do with $20,000?Continue to pay off bills and to make sure that she gets all the medical attention that she needs for her multiple sclerosis. We would also like to do a cruise somewhere.
