How did your love story begin?

Darren and I met in February 2024 at Blu Water Bistro. After seeing each other several times at our favorite local restaurant, he finally came over to introduce himself. During our conversation, I shared that my son was headed to O’Dea High School as a freshman. Darren smiled and said, “Well, they call me Mr. O’Dea,” as he is a proud alumnus. We quickly discovered many shared interests, values, and connections. From that moment, the conversation flowed effortlessly—and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is our trip to London. Darren, an NFL Red Hat, traveled there for the International Games, and I was lucky enough to meet him. It was my first time visiting that part of the world, making it even more special. We explored the city, enjoyed the nightlife, rode the trains, visited iconic landmarks, and had so much fun we almost missed our flight back home to Seattle!

What would you do with $20,000?

The $20,000 would help us purchase our first home together and start the next chapter of our lives. It would ease the financial burden of buying a home, allowing us to invest in a place where we can build memories, host family and friends, and create a strong foundation for our future. Owning a home together would be more than a milestone—it would be a dream come true and a lasting investment in our life as a couple.
