It all began on the night of my 25th birthday in a Cincinnati bar while I was home from graduate school. I spotted Grant across the room and decided to introduce myself. What started as a ploy for a free drink quickly became so much more. He took me to lunch the next day for my birthday, and just a week later flew to visit me while I was on a clinical rotation in San Diego. From the very beginning, being together felt effortless. Seven years later, we’re still each other’s favorite person!

It’s impossible to choose just one favorite memory because we’ve shared so many incredible experiences together, but our engagement in July 2024 will always hold a special place in our heart. Grant proposed on a beautiful rooftop in Arizona overlooking Camelback Mountain. Shortly after, we celebrated with a magical trip to Hawaii, where we took our engagement photos on Makapuʻu Beach and soaked in every moment of excitement for the next chapter of our lives.

If we won, we’d start by celebrating our little fur baby, Zoë. She’s six pounds of dynamite and the heart of our family. She turns 10 this year, and we’d love to take her on a beach getaway since it’s her absolute favorite place in the world. As passionate dog lovers, we’d also donate a portion to Arizona rescue shelters to help more dogs find loving homes. The rest would go toward our honeymoon, allowing us to create even more unforgettable memories and experiences together!
