What began as a simple group outing quickly turned into something real. I was a newly single mom of three, rebuilding my life and convinced I had no room for love. He was younger, had no children, and knew I couldn’t have more—yet he showed up anyway. Day by day, he chose me, chose my kids, and chose the life we hadn’t even imagined yet. That unexpected beginning became our forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is watching him step fully into our family. His steady strength, my wild edges, somehow fitting perfectly. From baseball fields to weddings to becoming grandparents, we’ve laughed, loved, and raised a family side by side. It’s the way he’s held our life together with patience and humor that stays with me most.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use $20,000 to pay down debt and get some breathing room. We’d finally finish a few house projects we’ve put off for years. And of course, we’d get something special for our grandkids.
