When Daniel and I met at work, I thought he was a nice guy who asked entirely too many questions. He invited me to lunch, canceled a few times, and I finally got frustrated and said, “Never mind!” Then he asked me to dinner instead. One dinner led to every weekend together for a year. Twenty-five years later, we’ve weathered life’s highs and lows, grown our family, strengthened our faith, and still choose each other every day.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our wedding day at Disneyland. We kept a special surprise from our guests: Mickey Mouse and Goofy. During the reception, music started playing, the doors opened, and out they came! Our family and friends were completely shocked and overjoyed. Seeing the excitement and happiness on their faces made the day even more magical for us. Twenty-five years later, it’s still a memory that brings us smiles.♥️

What would you do with $20,000?

We are actually moving tomorrow, so this couldn’t come at a more meaningful time! We would use the $20,000 to help with the many expenses that come with relocating and settling into our new home. Last year, we also became empty nesters after the last grandchild moved on to begin her own journey. While we’re so proud of her, it has marked the beginning of a new chapter for us as a couple.
