I (Jeri) had been a single mom for many years. Dan had gone through a recent divorce. We both attended a birthday of a co-worker and I knew immediately this man was someone special. We had gone on a few dates and decided to take a day trip to the California coast. I called my elderly mom to tell her so she wouldn't be worried about me. She said, honey I know you are going to the ocean, Dan calls me every Sunday to check on me. That was the moment I knew he was the one. He still amazes me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Being able to blend our 5 children. Building a new life living on the Oregon coast and becoming grandparents. There are some many small blessings that have given us so much to be thankful for.
What would you do with $20,000?We both retired early from California to get away from the many wild fires. Dan works now at our local jail for the insurance. So we would just hold onto it for when he retires from his current job.
