How did your love story begin?

Our story began in the heart of Mangum, Oklahoma. I was the small-town tomboy, always on the move, and he was the high school football player, a fixture under the Friday night lights. We were two different worlds that collided in those hallways, realizing quickly that our paths were meant to align. From those early days to the life we’ve built, we’ve learned that the best team we could ever join is each other. We’ve turned young love into a lifetime of partnership, resilience, and joy.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding day remains our favorite chapter because it was the moment our small-town promise became a forever commitment. Surrounded by the people who watched us grow from high school sweethearts into partners, it felt like the perfect culmination of our journey. It wasn't just about the ceremony; it was the realization that after all the years of football games, growing pains, and shared dreams, we were finally, officially, on the same team for life. What would you do with $20,000?

We would lead with heart by donating to the Breast Cancer Society to support the fight for a cure. With the remainder, we’d provide ourselves with a fresh start by paying off bills to reduce stress, and surprise my wife with a reliable new car. For us, this money isn't just about "things"; it’s about honoring a cause we care about, securing our peace of mind, and ensuring that our daily journey—from school runs to our holiday character work—is comfortable, safe, and stress-free.
