We love to reflecting on how we watched each other grow. We are stronger together with an unbreakable bond.
We would like to thank you for supporting Damian Soria in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our story began when his Cousin invited me to be a ‘ Dama ‘ at her quinceañera (in 2018). He was one of her ‘chambelanes’ ; we weren’t dance partners but we became friends and got super close. Over time after the party was over we became distant and did not speak. Damian moved to my school, we’d chat here and there. In 2022, our senior year, our friend groups combined; which led to friendship and our love blooming. It wasn’t official until after we graduated, but we’ve been inseparable since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We make new memories everyday. Yesterday (6/29/26), we went out to eat Raising Canes and had a blast together. We always switch off paying meals and who pays for target runs after! Finding new jokes for each other. Afterwards, he took me to where my late grandparents used to live. Being there helps me remember and feel their presence. We are so grateful for each other.
What would you do with $20,000?Fixing our debt would be our main goal, it keeps us stuck and unable to move on. I (Giselle) would use it into my car that breaks down with issues, buying a new one would not be an option as can lead to similar issues and potentially more debt. I (Damian) would use a it to invest into a better future for the both of us. We together would put the rest into saving to potentially help us buy our first home. To help us save for our future family.
