Our love story began when we first saw each other on stage for an open-mic night at college. John did a 5-min magic routine, Cynthia played the guitar and sang. We had no idea that we would eventually become each other's spouses, doing the same thing 10 years later: performing on stage. A year later, Cynthia bought a used guitar from John, and we began a band together. We only ever performed one song, but we've stayed together since. Music and Magic brought us together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many: a road trip to New Orleans, eating gelato in Rome, meeting a camel in Cabo, and dancing to the Hamster Dance at our wedding.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, we are both performing artists in LA - there is no shortage of ideas for short films or magic shows to produce. We haven't performed together since college, so who knows... we might even bring the band back. "SEAHORSE AND SOCK MONKEY" REUNION SHOW.
