Jerry and I met at work, we have both had difficult pasts both on third marriages but true soulmates - god bless the broken road
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Our love story began at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, where we met as coworkers - Director of Sales and Banquet Manager. We’d often pass each other , small talk, until one afternoon we grabbed a drink, and everything changed. Not long after, I surprised him one morning and kissed him in front of the ice machine - and from that moment on, we have been together. As they say, the rest was written in the stars.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is how quickly our wedding plans changed. We’re both huge football fans - he’s a Bears fan, and I’m all about the 49ers. One October night by a bonfire, I joked, “if the Niners make the Super Bowl, why not have a Super Bowl wedding?” He laughed and said, “”Why do the Niners have to make it?” That night we started planning - and when the Niners made it, we made it happen. They didn’t win, but we did!
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would focus on creating stability and meaningful memories! We’d start by paying down debt to strengthen our financial foundation. Then we’d invest in home renovations to enhance our space and long term value. We’d set aside money for a special trip together, and most importantly, help support our daughters - both recently engaged- as they begin their happily ever after.
