Connect How did your love story begin?

Post-Covid after we each had kissed our share of frogs. We had our first date in February of 2021 at a local tapas spot and have spent every Friday night together since. I did not think he would be the love of my life or that we would even truly make it past a second date! My heart was jaded and I had been hurt time and time again. He had an ex who stalked and harassed us- we both had been through it! Despite all that, we bonded over life goals and interests and he captured my heart.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first vacation together to Hilton Head for his birthday. We had only been together a short time and I was so nervous, but we let our guards down and had so much fun. I even danced on the beach - in public! We laughed so much and really dove in on investing in our relationship. We have inside jokes about that trip to this day. It was the catalyst that led to us falling in love.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd prioritize us getting some time away and capturing that magic we felt years ago at Hilton Head on our first trip together. We are expecting our first baby, Miles, in September. We would love to be able to show him the world and take him places and give him experiences we didn't have growing up. To expose him to other cultures and education is the best gift we can offer. Setting him up to be an empathetic, wordly, kind, good human being is so important to us!
