Picking up my grandson from charter school, where Dawn worked as the receptionist. She’d heard from my son about our bingo night at his workplace and began asking me all about it. I quickly replied, “You can sit with my grandson and me.” That serendipitous moment stole my heart and sparked our beautiful, unexpected love story.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We got engaged in San Diego at the Tim Hortons lighthouse restaurant overlooking the bay. Despite being told not to propose on Valentine’s Day, I dropped to one knee in front of the crowded bar. Completely surprised, Dawn burst into happy tears as the entire restaurant erupted in applause and a standing ovation. It was pure magic. 💍❤️
What would you do with $20,000?Dawn’s biggest dream has always been to go on safari in Africa. So I would plan a special trip to turn her lifelong wish into reality—watching her eyes light up as we experience the wild beauty together would be pure magic. ❤️
