For me it started in 8th grade. I told my friends one day I’d marry Curtis. Life took a different path for both of us. Then we started talking 30 plus years later. I lived 1600 miles away and made the plan to move back to my hometown and date this hunk. Since 2021 we have been inseparable.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory was staying a weekend on a riverboat in Mississippi and watching cars cross the bridge as we both sang Tina Turner’s Proud Mary.
What would you do with $20,000?We are deeply grateful for this $20,000 prize. We currently care for 20 rescued animals in tight space, saved from high-kill shelters and neglect cases facing euthanasia. Daily we must turn away more due to lack of room. This funding would enable us to buy a small ranch for a sanctuary with enclosures, barns, and habitats for dogs, cats, goats, pigs, and more. Funds would cover down payment, fencing, shelters, and initial vet/feed costs. This would let us save dozens more animals lives.
