We come from different worlds but now travel together, cofounded an AI company to help people together and are almost never apart.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met through Facebook Dating while I was visiting family in Kansas City. Audrey drove 2½ hours for our first date, and we spent nearly every weekend together after that. A month later, her mom unexpectedly passed away, and I moved to Jefferson City to help her through one of the hardest seasons of her life. What began as a chance meeting became a partnership built on love, trust, and showing up for each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Christmas Day, Audrey surprised me by proposing. She had bought the ring weeks earlier but became so emotional she could barely get the words out. I had just started playing “A Thousand Years”—which became our wedding song—when she walked in holding the ring with tears in her eyes. I said yes before she could even finish asking, and we still laugh about it today.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d invest part of it in the AI business we’re building together to create more opportunities for others. The rest would help Audrey receive the dental work she’s postponed for years after overcoming serious health challenges. Helping her smile with complete confidence again would mean the world to both of us.
