We have been able to be together for decades because we see the humanity in each other and we define what works for us.

Our freshman year in college, I was recently dating his roommate and went to visit with a friend. He says he saw me and thought I was the most beautiful person he ever saw. Months later, after I stopped dating his roommate, he came into my job. I was so hungry that I asked him for a bite of his sandwich as he checked out and the rest is history…not an easy or quick one though.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I think the day we found out about becoming parents when we were told we may never have any children after about 2 decades together.
What would you do with $20,000?So many things to consider; our son has Down Sydrome and we have talked about building him a tiny house in our yard for a sense of independence and freedom. We are both in education and have talked about opening our own school to support nontraditional approaches to learning.
