They say timing is everything. Mel and I first met on our school commute as teenagers, but destiny waited until our early 20’s to give us our real second chance. Now, 16 years and two amazing children later, I look at the life we’ve built and marvel at how lucky we are. Every day with Mel is so effortless and filled with joy that it feels like a fairytale—except this one is real.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our absolute favorite memories will always be the births of our two children. Those moments were filled with a profound love that extended far beyond the two of us to the family who stood by our side. Some of those loved ones are no longer here with us today, but holding our babies surrounded by the people we loved most is a gift we will cherish forever.
What would you do with $20,000?Our ultimate dream is to take our children to Disney World. This was a trip we were planning to take alongside my parents, but life changed completely when my dad passed away suddenly last year. He really wanted to experience Disney with his grandchildren in the way that he did with his kids. To be able to take this trip in his honor, keeping his spirit alive while making incredible new memories together, would mean everything to us.
