As late-in-life lesbians, we turned our lives upside down to be with each other. We are best friends and soul mates who cherish each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting Cristy and Britt in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We found each other online while both wrestling with our sexuality and feeling like we’d been forced down the wrong paths in life. It was supposed to be just a fling, but we quickly fell head-over-feet and had zero questions anymore about our sexuality.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have lots of vacations, both just the two of us as well as with the kids, that rank high on our list of favorites. Honestly, I’d say recently finding a kitten on the side of a highway during a road trip and rescuing him is top of our list. We fell in love with the kitten, which we named Bug, as quickly as we did with each other.
What would you do with $20,000?Our oldest is headed to college in the fall, so we would use a chunk to help with those costs. We unfortunately lost our little Bug to a terrible virus not long after rescuing him, so we would also like to donate a portion of it to The Humane Society in his honor.
