Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in 1984 when we met as freshmen in high school at a local dance club. Although we never dated then, life kept us moving along strikingly similar paths. Decades later, after both experiencing marriage, family, and divorce, we reconnected. What started as a friendship quickly became something deeper. Looking back, it feels as though fate simply pressed pause on our story until the timing was right, bringing us together when we were finally meant to be.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory as a couple was going to our hometown Bonfire on the Beach together. It was the first time we got to openly share our happiness and let everyone know we were finally dating. Surrounded by friends, music, and the ocean, we spent the night singing along to our favorite band and dancing barefoot in the sand. It was one of those perfect evenings when everything felt right, and we knew how lucky we were to have found each other again after all those years.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we could create unforgettable memories and build our future together. We could take a dream vacation, renovate part of our home, pay down debt, boost our savings, or invest in a retirement home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We could also support causes we care about like the Thomas Merton Family Center where Craig works. Most importantly, we'd use it in a way that reflects our shared values—balancing fun, security, and the life we're building together.
