How did your love story begin?

We met in Nashville, TN, in 2023. I (Craig) traveled down from Vancouver, BC (Canada) to meet my Brother, his wife, and two other couples (all from Canada) for a weekend of fun and a George Strait concert. Trisha lived in New Hope, AL, and was also headed to the George Strait concert with 3 of her friends. We met in a bar on Broadway, called "Tootsie's" - I saw her beautiful face and ran to tell my group that I just saw the woman I wanted to marry. I then asked her to dance, and she said, "No."

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Obviously, we got past that initial "No" and we talked on FaceTime every night! We planned for her to come up to Vancouver to visit me, but she was terrified that I wouldn't show up at the airport to pick her up. It also didn't help that her daughter thought I could be part of a "Sex-trafficking" network. But I was there to greet her with flowers and open arms - and we had an amazing time exploring Canada's Pacific Northwest! This was the trip that solidified that we were meant to be together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We feel so blessed to have found love and each other at this stage of our lives. We both realized we wanted to spend the rest of our years together, so we decided to make the U.S. our home. I moved down to Alabama, and we got married last year. We moved into our first home together last October, and we'd love to implement some of the renovations that we have planned for our little love nest, along with feathering it for the years ahead. Also, maybe a trip or cruise to Europe!?
