How did your love story begin?

According to my husband – the first time he saw me walking down the hall in ninth grade he knew he wanted to meet me. I was so shy that whenever he said hi I would just turn bright red and really was not ready to date anyone when I was that young.. Through the years we just seem to be like magnets we would run into each other all the time unplanned. He did ask me out when I was a senior( he is 3 years older) we went to the drive-in on our first date and have been together ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of the best memories was way back in 1984 we were building our own house and as soon as moved in I found out I was pregnant with our daughter. Most of my memories have to do with family we both have large families and all of our get togethers specially on holidays are great memories and we still do Sunday dinner. But my best memory now is the day my son came to Sunday dinner and handed us a little box and inside was a sonogram of our first grandbaby!

What would you do with $20,000?

Since we eloped andnever had a honeymoon the first thing I would do is take my 70 year-old husbands dream come true with a trip to Scotland August 2027 will be our 50th anniversary (Outlander fans) 2. Take my 3 grandbabies, 2 young nieces and nephew, and new “daughter “ she is 14 and both parents are now deceased so I am raising her as well, to Disney World 3. Our county (manatee ) is building a brand new development – tunnel for towers and my husband and I definitely want to help with that..
