Cliff is from Louisiana, and I am from South Dakota. Our paths crossed when we were both stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. I worked in Military Pay, and he was a Graphic Specialist. Legend has it that I may have accidentally messed up his pay while he was on leave, giving him a reason to come into my office. Whether it was fate or paperwork, that unexpected meeting started a love story that’s still going strong over 31 years later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory isn’t just one moment—it’s the life we’ve built together. From the day we met at Ellsworth Air Force Base to raising a family, traveling, laughing, and facing life’s ups and downs side by side, every chapter has made us stronger. More than 31 years later, he’s still my favorite person to make memories with.
What would you do with $20,000?If we’re fortunate enough to win, we’d like to pay our blessing forward by donating the $20,000 back to the Hunger Relief and Ocean Conservation Fund. We’ve been blessed with so much over the years, and helping provide hope, support, and a healthier future for others would be one of the most meaningful ways we could celebrate this incredible gift.
