I had a brief introduction to Fernando at a private birthday party for Michelle Rundgren at The Belasco. I’d run into him at concerts in LA, did a quick hello & snap a photo. I learned he had a band playing on a Yacht Rock cruise, so when I retired, I booked it. We hung out where I got to know him. I was concerned about the age difference.. we were both at an Rundgren event in Kauai, where we met again and watched the sunrise playing Here Comes the Sun and have been together since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The Rundgren event in Kauai was paradise. It was a weeklong event of music and friends. My favorite memories are made in London where he records at Abbey Road Studios and meeting amazing musicians I never could have dreamed of meeting.
What would you do with $20,000?We would share the $20,000 and I would buy a new car that I seriously need; Fernando would buy another guitar with the winnings, a portion going to Spirit Of Harmony, which supports music education in schools.
