Singing together in a Church Choir in our teens(78), then both going different directions. Chuck college and almost marriage, Dee thought to become a nun. Crossing paths at a friend’s swimming party (1985), discovered we use to sing together years ago. Re-met later (87) we dated became engaged and a planned double wedding with her roommate on 9/9/89, 4 days after Chuck’s BDay. Hint so Chuck would not forget. Never go to bed angry, say I Love You daily with a kiss, and always have fun and laugh.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our son. After our first loss it took 9 years of planning, prayer, disappointment, and joy. All our relatives thought it would never happen. We prayed for possible adoption but also asked God for a special child. Then one day Dee fainted in our shower after we visited wineries and had a check up with a Doctor. Dee called Chuck to say there is a problem I need to meet her at the doctors office ASAP. The problem? I was going to half to drink a case of wine by myself she was pregnant.
What would you do with $20,000?Invest it into our son’s future as we get older. Joshua is Autistic and needs resources for his future. Help friends who have lost everything in the Spokane, WA fires. And to help a foundation we work with called www.CASTforKids.com, a 501-C3 organization for Special Needs Children and Adults. Experience the thrill of fishing and enjoy a glorious day. We also work with Special Olympics and our son’s bowling. He is quite good(190)and an A student in college: Digital Media. One class a quarter. 😊
