How did your love story begin?

We met through Great Expectations. Wasn’t really sold on doing it, but tried it after friends pushed me. My membership was about to expire. He picked me early on, but instead tried others that were duds.finially decided to give him a try. We met for dinner and I knew right away, he was the one and I even told him, he was a keeper. On a date he came to pick me up, my large black lab mix, immediately stuck her nose in his crotch. My this is a very friendly household he said as I turned red.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When our son was born. I worked with another nurse who’s daughter was pregnant. Knowing we were getting married and being older, she asked if we would adopt the baby. We agreed. When the time came, my parents were visiting and Chuck’s. We all went out for lunch, and we got the call the mother was ready to give birth. We all went to the hospital and my son, Errol, (whom I held in the delivery room) went home with us the next day. He was born the same year we were married.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well, that’s easy, catch up on our bills maybe taking a long awaited trip that we haven’t been able to take for quite some time and put some towards getting help for our adult daughter who we adopted later through foster adoption that has mental illness, to get herself stable and capable of living on her own.
