He’s British, I’m from Texas, and we met on a Broadway National touring musical 25 years ago in a collision of sweet tea and Earl Grey. After years of friendship, we fell madly in love. We waited a long time for this love. We have now survived the marathon of raising three kids and are officially empty nesters. We have been tested by time, teenagers, and international slang barriers. We're ready for our "third act," mostly because we've proven we can handle anything as long as we’re together.

Choosing our favorite memory is impossible. Is it our wedding day, where we officially teamed up for this wild ride? Mark’s epic 50th birthday surprise in England (a blinding time, mate!)? Or getting blissfully stranded poolside at our oasis, the Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs? Honestly, the best memory is simply the decades of laughter, music, and being utterly curious about one another. If we win, we would handle the $20k with pure, unadulterated marital maturity. First, we’ll responsibly pay off a credit card, because nothing screams "romance" like zeroing out a balance. Then, we’re immediately escaping on a massive vacation before our adult kids find out we have cash.
