Connect How did your love story begin?

It began as all great love stories do.. in Lancaster,CA off a mile-marker dirt road. Our mutual friends were making the worst music video ever conceived. It was a disaster, and seeking relief from the heat, Christine got in my car to drive 4 miles back to the main highway to pick up the lead singer who'd gotten lost. We'd both recently had bad splits from best friends, people we'd been hanging with every day, and Christine told me, "I've got an opening for a new best friend." I said, "me too!"

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Innumerable, but probably Hotel Laki along Iceland's southern coast. It was a little pond outside of a bed and breakfast in a pin-drop quiet part of rural Iceland. The kind of quiet where you can hear your pulse in your ears. No buzzing bugs, no predators, it was pure peace and a nervous system reset unlike anything either of us had ever experienced. A few days later, I proposed to Christine in front of a volcano and a waterfall. It was a lovely trip.

What would you do with $20,000?

Jack's parents have been very generous toward us over the years, donating money they could definitely use to make our lives easier instead. We'd like to return the favor and help them pay down some of their debts, so this would go right to them.
