What was meant to be a quick pharmacy pick up turned into a long conversation. Chris told me about his battle w/ cancer & degenerative disc disease. I shared my own trials & we bonded over the gift of a new 24 hours. We parted ways, forgetting to exchange numbers. A month later, I was grabbing a red bull at a store & as I shut the cooler door & turned around, there stood Chris. Shocked faces gave way to an "it's you" moment. The universe gave us a 2nd chance, and we’ve been inseparable since.

We love bagels. I get an everything bagel w/ cream cheese & Ciara gets her Lox. One Sunday, an older man approached us & asked Ciara if that was a Lox she had. He explained that when he started dating his wife, Sherry, they’d grab a bagel after church & Sherry would always order a lox. He never quite liked em but, he’d go bc he loved her. 50 years later, his wife got Alzheimer’s & although she had forgotten her love for Lox bagels, he still takes her every Sunday to get one, bc he loves her.

With the $20,000 we would definitely use some of this money to put towards expenses for our wedding coming up June 12th of next year! & use the rest of it to put towards our honey moon.
