Our love story began way before we ever realized we were in love. We met in HS & both struggled in on again/off again abusive relationships while maintaining a friendship into adulthood. I was a single mother of 2 and he stepped in and stepped up and showed us all what healthy love is like.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have shared so many amazing memories together from our first date on South St in Philly, to traveling to the Bahamas not once but twice, and all the milestones over the years. I don’t think anything beats the memory of when we welcomed our daughter in 2021. I knew he was going to be an amazing father and the sense of safety I felt was something I had never experienced.
What would you do with $20,000?We are working towards becoming first generation homeowners. Over the years we have worked really hard to build each other up. There’s a long standing joke that I wouldn’t date him because he didn’t even own a car back then. The $20,000 would go towards continuing to build our future and legacy for our children and provide a place we can always call home and to someday leave behind for our children and grandchildren (someday!)
