We were middle school sweethearts. Even though we went to different high schools we still knew it was forever. We married at the end of our junior year and welcomed our first child (Jenny) in November 3 months later. Obviously we were very young for marriage but through our love and commitment to one another we thrived. We both ultimate completed our Master’s degrees in our chosen fields, (Chris’ in geology and mine in nursing). Through the years we had many struggles but our love remains strong
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Best memory is when we realized we had achieved a successful life together, we raised a happy family, 3 kids, 8 grandkids , 3 great grandkids and had saved enough to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary by taking all 20 of them to Iceland for a family vacation. The memories are a blessing forever!
What would you do with $20,000?We will be celebrating our 55th anniversary in 2 years. We would like to take our entire family on a vacation together, (23 of us total) someplace we would all enjoy together.
