How did your love story begin?

I was the sax guy, she was auditioning for vocals. Arrah appeared silhouetted in a sunlit doorway at Fort Sam Houston—it was love at first sight. We bonded over Flight of the Conchords, but I thought she was out of my league. The real spark hit while singing a duet of "Close to You" at a gig; we finished the song millimeters apart. Finally, Arrah boldly made the first move. We married in 2011 and have been making beautiful music ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We’ve played incredible stages, traveled the world, and even had future celebrities at our wedding. Our Barcelona cruise was an unforgettable adventure! But honestly? Our true favorite memory isn't a single event—it’s the constant, quiet moments of knowing we always have each other’s backs. Through sickness, health, good times, and bad, the love, friendship, and sheer happiness we share overshadow any glamorous trip. Our greatest memory is simply the life we’ve built together.

What would you do with $20,000?

For the last year, I’ve poured everything into launching my company, GigSync™. Arrah has been my rock, supporting this dream even when it’s been financially and emotionally exhausting. Winning $20,000 would give us a much-needed breath of fresh air. I want to use this prize to take care of our family and, most importantly, treat Arrah the way she deserves. It’s a chance to show my amazing wife how much her unwavering support through this incredibly hard journey means to me.
