How did your love story begin?

Fate brought us together at a wedding where my good friend married his cousin. I lived in Chicago, he lived in Boston, and neither of us expected to meet the love of our lives that weekend. My dad insisted on driving me instead of letting me take an Uber. We met, exchanged numbers, and a beautiful love story began. Just one week later, my dad unexpectedly passed away. The last time I saw him was when he dropped me off to meet my future husband. I believe, somehow, he knew I’d be okay.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After my dad passed away, I wasn’t answering calls or texts. The man I’d just met reached out to my friend, who told him what had happened and gave him my dad’s address so he could send flowers. As I pulled into my dad’s driveway for the first time without him, a delivery driver arrived with those flowers at that exact moment. He had no idea when I’d be there, but his kindness brought comfort when I needed it most. That’s when I knew he was someone special.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were fortunate enough to win, we’d use the prize to help build our family and create the future we’ve always imagined together. Family has always been at the heart of our story, and this gift would bring us one step closer to making those dreams a reality.
