It was a local high school dance on New Year’s eve in 1990 when we had our first dance. It was a brief meeting/dance and we didn’t see each other until school started back up. Honestly, I didn’t think Chad would even remember me, but one of my guy friends “reintroduced” us when we went back to school and that’s when it all began.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Raising our 4 beautiful children that are our biggest blessing, but 1 favorite memory that comes to mind is when we found out about having twins as our 1st borns, after having problems with fertility. We were beyond ecstatic and now we are blessed with the start of having grandchildren.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to finally take the honeymoon that we have put off the last 30 years. We initially planned to take one at our 1 year anniversary due to building a new home and then each year something came up and we devoted our time and money to raising our 4 kids, so now 30 years later sadly we are still planning on that honeymoon. Regardless, we have always instilled in our children that no matter how big the wedding and all the extras, even the honeymoon does not make the marriage!
