Erik and I complement each other perfectly, and we quote movies back and forth like a second language. We are truly soul mates.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met in 2020 via Zoom, thanks to a mutual friend's online group, The Quarantine Theatre Company. We did virtual script readings together and realized we had chemistry, especially during The Lion King, where we played Timon and Pumbaa. We started chatting outside of the QTC in 2022, and finally met in person that December. We quickly realized our chemistry wasn't only "on screen," and ended up talking for over four hours on that first date. Both of us were instantly smitten.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There are so many! A recent example is Erik's proposal, which was extremely special. Not only did he play our song while doing it, he also included my 10-year-old son, Joey, by having him film the proposal. You can hear Joey giggling in the video, and it always makes me smile. The next night, we went to a karaoke party with some friends. We got a standing ovation when we arrived, and also Erik serenaded me with "Storybook Love" from Princess Bride. He says he'll never forget the smile on my face
What would you do with $20,000?We would use $20,000 either to fund one of the many short films we've written (we're both screenwriters), or to have our upcoming honeymoon in Bora Bora (our dream vacation).
