My friend wanted to hang out with a guy she liked, so I went with her, and Caleb was there. It was an instant connection! We were both shy, so we could barely speak to each other. But after that, we started texting and got to know each other. The next time we saw each other, I took him to my homecoming. The rest is history!

We had been saving for years to take a trip to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. This was our first trip together on our own. We finally made it this year. We hiked so many trails, visited the town, ate at different restaurants, and made so many memories. Our funniest story is walking back on what we thought was a trail to get back to our car, which ended up being the hardest climb up a mountain. We both struggled and stopped so many times. But kept encouraging each other to make it.

If we won the money, we would use it for our wedding. We have been saving for a long time. After many blocks, including Caleb opening his own business, taking care of a family member, my car breaking down, and job/life changes. We have had to start from zero many times. Having even a small wedding feels like years away. With any leftover money, we would put it towards buying our first home and paying off my student loans.
