Nov 2022- I bought a 1 bedroom cottage in my hometown. I was staying at my parents & left my house in the morning the day before. On the night of March 26th 2024, I received a random text message; "Hi is this Dawn? I'm Charlie your neighbor's son & grandson, they're worried about you with the garage door being left open." It was so thoughtful & caring, so I invited him out for coffee. We hit it off, talking on the phone for hours, & the house I bought... he grew up in! #loveyoumohr

All of our hiking and camping trips we've gone to at Giant's Ledge, Russel Pond, Mount Moosilauke and Mount Katahdin, as well as Acadia. I also took him on a vintage Bi-Plane ride in Rhinebeck NY for his surprise birthday. All of the times we're laughing and we're thinking the same thing, at the same time!! We love the quiet lakes we've been on, the sunsets and sunrises, the scent of nature, the beauty of the mountain views- having someone to share this with is our dream come true.

We would split the monies, $10,000 to cover for any extra wedding costs and a honeymoon. The other $10,000 we would donate to a charity we're passionate about (i.e. Family with a child that has a rare disease to cover treatment, Non profit education center on Agriculture and land conservation, Libraries, Endangered or at risk Animals etc.)
