We met in college—both of us started at community college because we were working full-time, and I was doing it to support my little kid. I left my business card on the last day and bolted out the door. A few weeks later, we met for lunch, and I just *knew* that was the guy I was gonna marry. We went our separate ways for a bit, but he texted me, and then we went on our first official date—October 23, 2004—and the rest, as they say, is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Honestly, for me, it was when we got married and Charles wrote vows to my daughter, Hannah, promising to love her and be there for her. That was such a sweet moment for us both.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, I’d totally go for a super fancy, over-the-top vacation, but we’re already booked for a sweet 20th-anniversary trip this year. Instead, I’d love to use that cash to finally update our basement into a KC Chiefs-themed room.
