The fall of 2017 at Northern Illinois University. A mutual friend and I “played hookie” from work and I was introduced to a friend of his, Chandler, and upon knocking on Chandlers door, he sees me through the peep hole, takes his shirt off, does a few pushups to pump up his muscles and answers the door. The initial attraction for us both was there and the chemistry soon followed. From mutual movie franchise interests, adventure seeking, same zodiac sign (Aquarius!), we’ve truly found a soulmate.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our trip to Lisbon, Portugal in 2022! We love traveling and he loves the Netflix show Money Heist where the charters names represent destinations. So together we created a bucket list dedicated to them. We’ve been to Denver, Lisbon but there’s Oslo, Berlin, Palermo and Tokyo is next!
What would you do with $20,000?We want to get married and start a family which comes with us being very community service oriented. Any community we’re in is taken care of just as they’ve pour into us and support our goals. We’ll travel and share our story but also continue to support the communities that poured into us however they need.
