Beth and I met online (AOL) back in 1998. Our first date was in September where she flicked pop in my face with her straw. We haven’t stopped laughing and playing since. I proposed to her at Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood on February 2, 1999, and every year since I propose to her again at Timberline Lodge on that date. I figure that if she ever turns me down, I’ll know I have messed up. We were married on April 1, 1999 at Covington House in Vancouver WA. Every April 1, we remarry someplace new.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Some of our favorite weddings included Sarah on Noah’s Ark in KY, General Lee in a civil war reenactment in VA, singer Marty Dread on a catamaran in Maui, Shamone on the beach in St Thomas, Three Amigos in Cozumel, Blackbeard the Pirate in SC, OD & Pam Cope on a cattle ranch in MO, Elvis Presley (impersonator) in LV, family members and best of all, the first one, Robert at a rustic log cabin in Vancouver WA. We look forward to a honeymoon/wedding every year!
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to travel to the Holy Land, Egypt, Ireland. We also love to bless others by helping them when we can. We feel truly blessed and are grateful to have met and to be able to walk this life hand in hand. The only regret we share is that we didn’t meet sooner.
