We first met in junior high at Rochester Central Lutheran School, where we shared a quiet crush but never dated. Ten years later, God brought us back together as middle school basketball coaches. We went out for a beer that night, and we both knew we’d found our forever. We were engaged six months later, got married in 1998, and have been living out this beautiful story God had been writing all along.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is definitely the surprise vow renewal Chad planned for our 25th anniversary. Standing before God once again, we renewed the promises we’d made years before, grateful for His faithfulness through every season. It was a beautiful reminder that our marriage is rooted in Christ, strengthened by His grace, and we are blessed beyond measure.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d first use it to pay off the little debt we have left to be good stewards of what God has given us. Then we’d set aside a little to create more memories—more traveling, enjoying simple adventures, and spending time with family. We are so very grateful for God’s abundance in every season.
