We would like to thank you for supporting Celestina and Roxanne in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met on Twitter, of all things, back in 2021. We found ourselves in the same circle of baseball fans (many of which later became close friends and stood up in our wedding!). We met in person a few months later at a tailgate. What really brought us together though was that we both shared the experience of being caretakers for our dads. Celeste’s dad passed away from cancer in 2021 right before meeting Roxy, and Roxy’s dad had just recently been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We recently just got back from a trip to Montana, where we went for a wedding for Celeste’s closest childhood friend, and then got to explore Yellowstone afterwards. We both were a bit out of our comfort zones for different reasons and were able to support each other and have the time of our lives on the trip!
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it toward fixing up our house so that Celeste’s mom can move in when she can no longer live alone!
