We support each other’s hobbies and interests. We still laugh at the kitchen table over jokes and do adventures together! 45 yrs together!

We met through a friend in high school. My now husband was in the navy. I was seeing someone else. My friend bought him over one night when we had a non fire. We hit it off great. My boyfriend at the time never came over. So my now husband would write letters back and forth. My dad passed away and my boyfriend found the letters and my now husband got a Dear John letter from me. Well Sept of 1981 I got a plane ticket to go see Dave and we got married in Dec. of 81. This is the cliff notes.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Building our lives together. We were so young when we got married. I was 19 and he was 23. We grew up together and learned as we went. We did a kitchen remodel with 4 young boys and his mom was with us and I was carrying for her after she had a stroke and I had major surgery! That was one memorable experience we still talk about today and how it brought us together. We do things as a couple, he does things one his own and I do things on my own. It’s all respect, trust and love!
What would you do with $20,000?I would like to build a nice deck around are above ground swimming pool! Take the kids out for a nice dinner!
