Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at my job; I was at a bus company, and he was the cleaner. Alone in the lounge, I sang country songs until he joked about getting concert tickets, calling me talented. We bonded over the office mastiff, and though I thought he was cute, I assumed he wasn't interested. We’d nod at the gym, then later matched on Bumble. He’d actually bought premium to confirm it was me! We both acted oblivious, but we were both secretly hoping to find each other. It turns out he had a crush the whole time.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have many memories, from dancing at Christian concerts to me beating up someone trying to break us up, which only brought us closer. My favorites, though, were our gym sessions and breakfast dates. I once invited him to Taco Bell. He was broke and too proud to let me pay, but I insisted we split a giant meal. We talked, laughed, and truly connected. Those simple, sweet moments defined us, even when money was tight, the joy of just being together was all that mattered to us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the funds to pay off debt, allowing us a fresh start. We’ve long dreamed of marriage, but financial instability keeps pushing that milestone further away. Clearing our debt would allow us to rebuild our credit, save for a home, and focus on growing our family. This support would be a life-changing jump-start, finally easing our burdens and allowing us to build the secure future we’ve worked so hard for.
