We first met in Switzerland in 1969. Talked to each other briefly. It was in the spring of 1971 that we met in college, north of Napa, California. We were both music education majors and we met in a class.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Being young and in love. Walking back to the college dorms in the rain. I had an umbrella. He did not. I did not want him to feel like he was ill prepared so I suggested we walk in the rain. It was delightful.
What would you do with $20,000?We have semi - retired. He is retired. I work part time for Morningside University teaching one course in the fall and one in the spring. We bought a church that was over a hundred years old in ND on land that my great grandfather homesteaded and my grandfather built. We have been restoring it for about 13 years and just moved from our home in MI to this old church building in May 2025. We need to build a garage because winters are cold. The money would help pay to pay for the garage.
