We were best friends for six years, in a big friend group. During my separation & divorce from my husband he had my back and supported me through everything. Around that time I had started training him to help me teach Self-Defense classes for my non profit. Thats when we started falling for each other. Before a big group trip we went hiking, on the full moon at night, at the top of the trail with a breathtaking view I confessed my feeling, and he did the same. We've been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We took a road trip out to Oregon to see his family. We decided to drive the straight 16 hours & it was a blast. We listened to our favorite podcast, sang songs, and most importantly talked, for hours and hours. As we were driving along the coast with the beautiful ocean breeze and a stunning view, we both said almost at the exact same time "this is awesome". Its a very fun and beautiful memory for both of us, not boastful, melodramatic or extravagant. Just time well spent with my best friend.
What would you do with $20,000?A little boring, but we'd pay off some debt, probably get a new car... and take a trip, a much needed trip. But I'm going to sneak some more info in on this part. One of the most important things that makes us work, is the fact that even though I'm chronically ill Cameron takes care of me. He is the best nurse, husband, and friend I could have ever asked for.
