How did your love story begin?

We started dating 13 years ago, but according to Calvin he's been watching me from afar since childhood. We grew up in the same neighborhood and when he visited the neighbors he saw me in my backyard and fell in love with me. From that day forward he knew I was his wife. Over the years he was too shy to ask me out then his son told me that he liked me. We went on our first date to a pool hall and he told his sister he finally got me. Six months later at my birthday party he proposed & I said yes

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Traveling to New Jersey to meet my dad and participate in my little sister wedding. We took a day trip to celebrate our anniversary. We drove to New York. We went site seeing, took a boat trip to see the Statue of Liberty. Experienced the different sites, sounds and food of New York including Times Square.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to fund the Mothers Day community event we call it Back In The Day Mothers Day where we set up bounce houses in our old neighborhood and tents and feed the community last year we feed over 150 people. We would also fund our Back to School Carnival were we give out school supplies, have bounce houses and carnival games. From the book bag giveaway the parents complete a ticket and the Apostle of our church pull a name for us to adopt a family for Christmas
